Make no mistake. Electronic medical records have been created for one reason only. For government along with insurance companies to monitor and come up with the cheapest (not best) treatment plans and to create robotic protocols removing much of physician judgment. This is just the beginning for government controlled healthcare. Notice not a word about quality of healthcare. Doctors and nurses are now too busy creating magnificent patient records as mandated by the government but there is only one problem- the patient died while you have been busy documenting.
